Networking At SXSW Meet Up Pavillion

One of the key incentives for attending SXSW is the ability to network with fellow filmmakers, musicians, new media techies and artsy entrepreneurs. Ground zero for all this schmoozing will be the Meet Up Pavilion. This year, the pavilion will be outfitted with work from Austin’s local art scene. You can see the full gallery of work by contemporary Austin artists at any point during the SXSW Trade Show, but a special reception with the artists will be held on Tuesday, March 13th. All works on display will be for sale; purchases can be made through the artists directly or through online stores via QR codes. Local artists participating in the initiative include Cherie Weaver, Callen Thompson, Cheyenne Weaver and Mark Johnson.
