Canadian Film Lounge At Toronto Film Festival

First Weekend Club, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness for great Canadian films, will host the Canadian Film Lounge at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, which begins this Thursday. Held at the swanky Fairmont Royal York, the Lounge is looking to become THE destination for Festival guests and VIPS to network, discuss film, and most importantly, discover the vast array of Canadian films playing at the festival. The Lounge was first launched at the 2010 TIFF. The goal is to celebrate Canadian film achievement and to heighten awareness about some great Canadian films and filmmakers, as well as bringing together talent, filmmakers, media and industry.
