Look for celebrities not only among the winners at Sunday night’s Oscar telecast….the presenters are pretty starry themselves. The top four acting winners from last year will all be present, including Colin Firth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale and Melissa Leo. Others gracing the stage of the Kodak Theater as presenters include (in alphabetical order) Halle Berry, Rose Byrne, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Michael Douglas, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Zach Galifianakis, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Milla Jovovich, Ellie Kemper, Jennifer Lopez, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Maya Rudolph, Emma Stone, Meryl Streep and Kristen Wiig. As an added plus, veteran crooner Tony Bennett will perform at the Governor’s Ball, the official (but certainly not the glitziest) party after the ceremonies. We’re happy with the list, but why not bring out some veterans from classic Hollywood, which would be a great treat for fans. Last year, Kirk Douglas nearly stole the show from his much younger peers, and maybe the Academy has some surprise guests who will do the same.
