ECLIPSE Cleans Up At MTV Movie Awards

ECLIPSE, the third film in the phenomenally successfully TWILIGHT series, was the big winner at this week’s MTV Movie Awards. The teen vampire saga, directed by David Slade, won Best Film, Best Actress (Kristin Stewart) and Best Actor (Robert Pattinson) honors, as well as Best Kiss and Best Fight nods. Emma Stone scored for Best Comedy Performance for her role in EASY A, with Ellen Page winning Best Scared As Shit Performance for her work in the fantasy film INCEPTION. A double winner for Best Breakout Star and Biggest Badass Star was Chloë Grace Moretz, the teen lead of the tongue-in-cheek adventure film KICK-ASS. Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon was honored with the MTV Generation Award.
