IDFA Focus On Brazilian Documentaries

IDFA, the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam, will devote attention to to the development of the Brazilian documentary during the past decade. The program, coordinated with the Brazil Film Festival Amsterdam (a separate event that takes place in Amsterdam in October and November), will include 19 documentaries made in or about Brazil in the past ten years. Alongside this selection, there will also be a retrospective of the work of Brazilian documentary master Eduardo Coutinho. In addition, IDFA TV will also present a special thematic program of 11 documentaries from previous editions of the Festival, available for online viewing at no cost.
