The fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, himself the subject of a recent documentary feature, has gone behind the scene to helm his own short films and commercials that will be shown this week at the Tribeca Film Festival. Last year Lagerfeld created the short film REMEMBER NOW for the Chanel website and is following up with a 30 minute film entitled THE TALE OF A FAIRY. He has recently completed a series of thematic commercials for the Magnum ice cream brand, which were introduced Thursday night at a party at the Festival and will be screened at festival screenings during the week.
