New York Indian Film Festival Opener

On May 4, the New York Indian Film Festival will present the US Premiere of  DO DONI CHAAR, directed by Habib Faisal and starring Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor and Do Dooni Chaar. The film tells the story of Mr. Duggal, a math teacher who lives in a government allocated two room apartment in Delhi and is coping with double digit inflation rates and single digit increments in his salary. Add to that, a teenage daughter with high living ambitions, a fast-track son and a wife who loves the good life. The comedy drama will kick off 9 days of contemporary Indian films, most being shown in the United States for the first time.
