Cinevegas#11 maintained its legacy for showcasing experimental, cutting-edge cinema with a leaner and more compact festival this year than ever before. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde “brevity is the essence of wit” and the new six day model was in keeping with the tight recessionary economy facing the U.S. today.
Cinevegas was replete with many surprises including some remarkably good Jackpot Premieres, heartfelt tributes and ruckus party-going. It was another successful endeavor.
