WHAT
RED Tech and RED Post bookend RED Community day, an event for everything and everyone RED. 35 Vendor booths, 10 thirty-minute presentations, lunch, and an opportunity to network with hundreds of RED users. Participate in workflow presentations from many of the industry’s major color and data management companies. Mingle with guest speakers from the industry, technology sponsors, instructors, and students. See case studies and screenings, and check out new RED Tech and RED Post solutions.
This day is for attendees to mingle with guest speakers from the industry, technology sponsors and instructors, case studies presented, and screenings. Sponsors of REDucation will have the ability to exhibit their technology and present case studies.
A key part of education is interfacing with others in the industry to learn real world practices and methodology. Community Day is a key component to REDucation, and makes the learning experience available to everyone for the day.
REDucation is the only RED-approved and RED-sanctioned educational program for learning the RED camera, RED workflow, RED data management, and RED post production techniques.

REDucation Community Day Presents The Real Deal: RED Post
REDucation will present the companies and experts who have forged functional and powerful RED post production processes with credits and history to support the discussion. Experts include Mike Brodersen from Fotokem NEXTLab, Michael Cioni from Lightiron, Dave Register from LaserPacific, and and Jeff Brue from Tunnel Post. They will show you what works, what’s the same, what’s different and how to be really prepared for flawless post. These companies have a wide variety of credits including features, web content, television programs and documentaries. They know the tools, tips, tricks and traps to avoid and to being completely prepared for a perfect finish. Moderated by industry expert journalist, Dan Restuccio, West Coast Editor of POST.
