Ten Movies Will Vie for Best Family Movie at 19th Annual Movieguide®
*Awards Gala on Feb. 18*

(Hollywood, CA) – What is the Best Family Movie of 2010?
Ten movies are in the final running for the Crystal “Teddy Bear” Award
for the *Best Family Movie of 2010*, the executive producers of the
*19th Annual Movieguide® Awards Gala and Report to the Entertainment
Industry announced today.

The winning movie will be announced at the awards Feb. 18 at the
Universal Hilton Hotel in Hollywood, California. The event will be
produced this year by Associated Television International.

Nominees for the *Ten Best Movies for Mature Audiences* will be
announced shortly, as will nominees for the *$100,000 Epiphany Prize*
for *Most Inspiring Movie of 2010*, the *$100,000 Epiphany Prize for
Most Inspiring TV Program of 2010*, the *Grace Awards for Most Inspiring
Performances in Movies & TV, the Faith & Freedom Awards*, and the
*$50,000 Kairos Prizes for Spiritually Uplifting Screenplays.*

The 10 nominees for Best Family Movie of 2010
in alphabetical order with major distributor, are:

“The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” – 20th
Century Fox

“Despicable Me” – Universal

“How To Train Your Dragon” – DreamWorks/Paramount

“Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” – Warner Bros.

“Letters to God” – Vivendi

“Megamind” – DreamWorks/Paramount

“Shrek Forever After” – DreamWorks/Paramount

“Tangled” – Disney

“Toy Story 3” – Pixar/Disney

“What If. . .” – Pure Flix

The Movieguide® Awards Gala is sponsored by the Christian Film &
Television Commission® ministry founded by Dr. Ted Baehr, who will
announce the winning movie on Feb. 18.

The Commission is dedicated to “redeeming the values of the
entertainment industry by influencing industry executives and by
informing and equipping the public about the influence of the
entertainment media.”
