TUPELO FILM COMMISSION

The 5th Annual Tupelo Film Festival will be held May 15-17, 2008 at the historic Lyric Theatre downtown Tupelo, Mississippi. The festival is known for its friendly hospitality and offers a great weekend filled with quality films, workshops and special events.

We understand the hard work and expense that goes into producing a film. It is very important to our festival that filmmakers selected to screen in Tupelo will receive the recognition they deserve and have a great experience! Awards are sponsored by community businesses. The “Music Video Award” will be sponsored by the Elvis Presley Birthplace Foundation. To enter go to www.tupelo.net/filmfest

The Tupelo Film Commission is here to help your production run smoothly. As a film-friendly city we will work to help you secure your locations and provide the service needed making the cost and time elements a main priority. We are also proud to announce that we can provide an innovative alternative to soundstages for producers looking to shoot interiors or do extensive set building. We have the space along with amenities to compliment your needs. Contact Pat Rasberry at prasberry@tupelo.net or call 1-800-533-0611 – (See photos below)
