AGE OF CHAMPIONS, a film about the National Senior Olympics, will have its world premiere at the AFI Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Festival tomorrow. The film chronicles the National Senior Olympics, an event held every two years that brings together 300,000 athletes, aged fifty and older. The story focuses on four specific contenders—-a 100-year-old tennis champion, 86-year-old pole vaulter, pair of swimming brothers, and team of basketball grandmothers — all chasing their dream for gold.
