Written by: FFT Webmaster | November 4th, 2011

The 25th edition of the AFI FEST 2011 in Los Angeles will feature a Spotlight focus on “mumblecore” director Joe Swanberg, one of the most prolific voices in contemporary American independent cinema. The Festival will present the director’s recent Full Moon trilogy, including the films SILVER BULLETS and ART HISTORY, as well as the world premiere of the third film in the series THE ZONE.  Swanberg’s intimate storytelling process centers on the intersection of art and life, and he often stars in the films themselves which include his close friends and filmmaking colleagues. Swanberg has made an astounding five films in just the past year. AFI FEST will take place November 3 through 10 in various locations in Hollywood, California.
