Australian superstar Hugh Jackman, currently thrilling audiences with his one man show on Broadway, has announced that he is following in the steps of one of his mentors Paul Newman to launch a brand of coffee that will contribute its profits to charitable causes. Much like the Newman’s Own branD that has donated more than $300 million since its founding in 1982, the Laughing Man coffee brand is helping coffee bean farmers in Ethiopia, provides jobs for people managing the business and supports charity groups that offers education and health care in impoverished areas around the world. “I was really inspired by Paul Newman after I read a book he co-authored with his business partner A.E. Hotchner entitled Shameless Exploitation In Pursuit Of The Common Good”, Jackman stated. “This is a really great way to exploit your popularity and give back.” For more information, visit: www.livelaughingman.com
