Jeremy Renner To Replace Matt Damon

Matt Damon will not be returning to his role as the super agent with amnesia in THE BOURNE IDENTITY films. The next film in the series THE BOURNE LEGACY will star Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner (THE HURT LOCKER, THE TOWN) and will be directed by Tony Gilroy, who wrote all of the previous BOURNE scripts. In further BOURNE news, Oscar-nominee Edward Norton is in negotiations to play the villain in the new film. The Universal Pictures release will be next summer and it looks to be another successful notch in the action thriller franchise.
