King Kong Returns In Animation Pic

KING KONG, the original hairy beast, will return next year in a new animation pic being prepared by Fox Animation. Christian Magalhaes and Bob Snow have been picked to write a modern day twist on the King Kong story. Not only will it be animated in full CGI, but, as an added twist, will tell the story from the vantage point of the ape. The duo’s recent spec script MURDER OF A CAT made the Black List of unproduced screenplays with the most commercial potential and is in the process of being set up.
