Matt Dentler Joins ITunes

Matt Dentler, who made his reputation as the producer of the South By Southwest Film Festival, is leaving New York and heading west to Los Angeles in a new post. Dentler has spent the last 4 years at Cinetic Rights Management’s FilmBuff and is joining the staff of iTunes, where he will oversee partnerships with independent film partners. As head of programming at FilmBuff, Dentler managed the VOD releases of such indie titles as FOR LOVERS ONLY and NICE GUY JOHNNY, both of which were success stories for the iTunes platform. In his new position, he will liase with film distributors and filmmakers, expanding iTunes as a VOD platform for indie and international titles.
