NEW YORKER FESTIVAL COMES INTO VIEW

A cross-section of actors, performers, comedians, politicians, authors and assorted cultural bigwigs are assembling for the 2011 New Yorker Festival, hosted by the celebrated magazine from September 30 to October 2. While offering a diverse palate of cultural events, the film presentations include screening of CORIOLANUS, a star studded adaptation of the Shakespeare military classic, with director and star Ralph Fiennes in attendance; and screening of ANONYMOUS, director Roland Emmerich’s film about the authorship of Shakespeare’s works, followed by a discussion with various authors and critics.
