Award-winning rapper Eminem is returning to the big screen for his first movie since the autobiographical 8 MILE in 2002. He played himself in that film and won an Oscar for co-writing the theme song. He is slated to play a welterweight boxer in SOUTHPAW, a boxing movie about a former champ who punches his way back to glory after a tragedy. Antoine Fuqua, who directed Denzel Washington to an Oscar in the police drama TRAINING DAY, will helm the film, with production set to start in September.
