Rooftop Films Celebrates Its Anniversary Swedish Style

Written by: FFT Webmaster | May 18th, 2011

Rooftop Films, the company that hosts outdoor summer screenings in various venues around New York City, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. To usher in the summer season (despite the unusually cold temperatures in New York), the company is presenting the New York Premiere of a wild Swedish comedy SOUND OF NOISE tomorrow evening. The film is a clever and maniacally entertaining Swedish comedy about a group of guerilla musicians who break into hospitals, banks, and other public places to play compositions using the surroundings as their instruments. The outdoor screening, to be followed by a special live performance by the musicians from the film, will be held on the Pier at Solar One, East 23rd Street and the East River.
