Tribeca Film Picks Up Rights To Sports Film

Tribeca Film, the distributon arm of Tribeca Enterprises which produces, among other things, the Tribeca Film Festival, has acquired all U.S. and Canadian rights to TURKEY BOWL,  written and directed by Kyle Smith. A real-time comedy that takes place during a touch football game between a bunch of friends in Los Angeles, the film had its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in March. Kerry Bishé, Zoe Perry, Zeke Hawkins and Tom DiMenna star. A theatrical release, with day-and-date availability on VOD cable and satellite television, is being planned for June. Tribeca Film will release nearly a dozen films this year, with the current LAST NIGHT, starring Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington and Eva Mendes, in theatrical release now.
