FestivalExpress, the new submission tool for filmmakers and festival organizers

Launched by filmfestivals.com and fest21.com, the leading media covering movie events worldwide and benefiting from their combined audience, FestivalExpress is the new tool allowing:

• Filmakers to submit their films to festivals in one click and to track the status of the submissions online on their dedicated submission page,
• Festival organizers to get more film submissions from around the world and manage them using their secured online submission backoffice.

To benefit from FestivalExpress, both filmmakers and festival organizers need to register on fest21.com and join the new major Film Database and the leading Festival Directory of the joint sites, filmfestivals.com and fest21.com. To register is free and it allows at the same time to promote films and festivals to the Pro audience of the sites and beyond.

At this stage, use of the tool is free for filmmakers and festival organizers. For festival submissions that are for a fee, payments are done directly to the festival organizers on the festival site using the direct link “Pay” on the festival site on fest21.com. Rules&regulations are the one from the festival directly. This document presents the details of the tool functions for festival organizers as well as for filmmakers.

Film Makers- How to submit your Film to Festivals:

To register your film to the festival, you need first to register it on fest21.com and join the new major Film Database of the joint sites, filmfestivals.com and fest21.com, the leading media covering film events worldwide. This will allow you to promote your film, to submit your film directly to our partner festivals and more.

– Create your Film record and blog on fest21.com in 3 easy steps:

1. Create your account on Fest21.com, this will create your own blog, simple, efficient and free.
2. Create your Film record
3. Publish information, news, images, film stills, video trailer…

Consider this as you main film blog, and use the RSS to publish on your other blogs.
– Submit your film to the festival with “FestivalExpress”
FestivalExpress is the fest21 one click festival submission tool.
Once your film is registered, on the top left of the page click on “Browse 4,000 festivals”to see festival who are accepting film submission. Or click on “By Name” if you already know what festival you are looking for. You can search by call of entry, festival date, country and submission fee. You have to choose yes at the field submission accepted.
