It’s Showtime @ Tiburon International Film Festival!

Tiburon, CA – The 10th Annual Tiburon International Film Festival (TIFF), a window to the world, is set for April 7-15, 2011.  TIFF will be showcasing over 140 films from 55 countries.

The Opening Film is “Novel for Men” directed by Tomas Barina from Czech Republic. “Novel for Men” will be making its International Premiere.  The film will be presented at the Playhouse Theater commencing at 7:10 pm.

The official screenings start as of Friday, April 8 and will continue to Thursday April 14.

The special programs this year are:

Spotlight on German Cinema, German Shorts, Marin Filmmakers [a popular program to support the local filmmakers], Focus on Immigration and Latin Cinema, World of Animation.

There are films for any age groups, from fiction, documentaries, shorts, children, sports…to musicals…. Something for every taste!

The Closing Night and Award Ceremonies will be at Sam’s Restaurant [27 Main Street, Tiburon], at 7 pm on Friday, April 15.
