Sundance Institute To Mentor African Projects

The Sundance Institute has announced plans for Sundance Institute East Africa, an exchange and development program to be held in Kenya, with fellows and advisors sharing training and mentorship. Four projects and a total of 13 artists have been selected for the intensive to take place July 17-31, 2011 on the island of Manda off the coast of Kenya. Under the supervision of Philip Himberg, Producing Artistic Director of the Sundance Institute Theatre Program, and Roberta Levitow, Artistic Associate, the Lab will provide artists with guidance in their creative development toward final production.
